]]> una macchina fa le bizze? si comporta in maniera stravagante? Dà errori strani?

i programmi che elenco qui sotto sono utili per mettere sotto stress CPU, RAM, HD, facendo quindi emergere eventuali problemi HW.

POLIVALENTI:

stress : test per CPU, RAM, I/O,  HD (c’è nel repository dei sistemi Debian like) – User Interface: CLI

esempio d’uso: ./stress -t 10 –cpu 8 –io 4 –vm 2 –vm-bytes 256M  -d 8

Phoronix Test Suite : tantissimi i tests / benchmark disponibili – User Interface: CLI / GUI

SPECIFICI:

Memtest86+ : il migliore per testare la RAM

IOzone : Benchmark per HD

Mersenne Prime : test per CPU
